Bento on WooCommerce
Bento’s WooCommerce plugin is open source and covers more than its Shopify app. Here is what it sends, and the few gaps to fill.
What do you need to set up?
Create your Bento account
Create your Bento account (30-day trial), then connect your site.
Install Bento’s WordPress plugin Out of the box
It sends
$OrderPlaced,$OrderRefundedand$OrderCancelled, with each item’s name, price and quantity. One catch: it sends the order when it reaches completed, not processing. If your store rarely marks orders complete, your flows will hear about orders late.Turn on site tracking Out of the box
With site tracking on, the plugin records page views and sends
$CartCreated,$CartUpdatedand$StartedCheckout. That covers browse, cart and checkout abandonment on the classic checkout.Add item categories Small recipe
Orders arrive without categories, so the restock decision has nothing to read. A small hook on order completion, or a custom event with each item’s categories, fixes it.
Add a daily clock and delivery Small recipe
A small daily job tells Bento who is due for win-back, second purchase and replenishment. For delivery-timed post-purchase, forward your courier’s delivery webhook to Bento through a small relay.
Which flows can you build today?
Almost all of them, straight away: welcome, browse, cart, checkout, VIP and sunset. Add categories for replenishment and a daily clock for the date-based flows.
